Message: Those Who Call On The Lord Shall Be Saved

Matthew 21:33 “Hear another parable”… there is plenty of opportunity.
His invisible attributes, Conviction of the Spirit, Sends messengers, Provides us with His word, and He sent His Son… “He who has ears to hear…”
2…“There was a certain landowner who planted a vineyard and set a hedge around it, dug a winepress in it and built a tower. And he leased it to vinedressers and went into a far country. 34 Now when vintage-time drew near, he sent his servants to the vinedressers, that they might receive its fruit. 35 And the vinedressers took his servants, beat one, killed one, and stoned another. 36 Again he sent other servants, more than the first, and they did likewise to them. 37 Then last of all he sent his son to them, saying, ‘They will respect my son.’ 38 But when the vinedressers saw the son, they said among themselves, ‘This is the heir. Come, let us kill him and seize his inheritance.’ 39 So they took him and cast him out of the vineyard and killed him.
“He sent his servants to the vinedressers” – God sent messengers
“Seize his inheritance” – the depravity of the human heart
We need the correct prognosis
Romans 3:23“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.”
Romans 3:10 adds, “There is none righteous, no, not one; there is none who understands; there is none who seeks after God.” We all sin and fall short…no one is innocent.
40 “Therefore, when the owner of the vineyard comes, what will he do to those vinedressers?”41 They said to Him, “He will destroy those wicked men miserably, and lease his vineyard to other vinedressers who will render to him the fruits in their seasons.” 42 Jesus said to them, “Have you never read in the Scriptures: ‘The stone which the builders rejected Has become the chief cornerstone. This was the Lord’s doing, And it is marvelous in our eyes’? 43 “Therefore I say to you, the kingdom of God will be taken from you and given to a nation bearing the fruits of it. 44 And whoever falls on this stone will be broken; but on whomever it falls, it will grind him to powder.” 45 Now when the chief priests and Pharisees heard His parables, they perceived that He was speaking of them. 46 But when they sought to lay hands on Him, they feared the multitudes, because they took Him for a prophet.
“What will He do to those vinedressers?” Hell is a reality, Judgment is certain, Condemnation is knocking at the door… BUT GOD
Given to “those who will render to him the fruits in their seasons” –
THE FRUIT of genuine faith is not found in religious involvement, visible acts of kindness, knowledge of God, or even in the conviction of sin.
GENUINE FRUIT is a transformed life, a love for God and His Word, sincere humility, selfless love, disconnection from the world, and true repentance.
“The stone which the builders rejected has become the chief cornerstone.”
The integrity of the entire building depends on the cornerstone.
“Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12).
OF ALL THE TRAGEDIES THIS ONE MIGHT TAKE THE CAKE
THE ATHEIST WILL REALIZE THAT HE WAS WRONG
THE AGNOSTIC WILL REALIZE THAT THERE IS ONLY 1 WAY
THE DOUBTER & SCOFFER WILL BE SILENCED
THOSE WHO CONTINUE IN THEIR SIN WILL KNOW WHY THEY DIDN’T ENTER
BUT THIS PERSON WILL BE SHOCKED – “But Lord, Lord…”
I went to church and prayed before meals.
I sang on the worship team…I was on the Deacon Board – I’m an elder /I’m a pastor.
I’m an American…my heritage can be traced back to the Mayflower.

Tears are healthy [it reveals a broken heart] – “It was said of Whitefield..”

WHY DID THIS HAPPEN? Because they rejected the Cornerstone – they rejected their Messiah –
– The stone fell and “grinded them to powder”
This should motivate REPENTANCE
“THOSE WHO CALL ON THE NAME OF THE LORD SHALL BE SAVED” – not might; not your odds are good; not God will consider it … BUT SHALL BE SAVED.
This should ALSO motivate prayer, fasting, and worship –
You’re not taking my family! You can’t have my daughter or my son! You can’t have my marriage –
The devil is the great destroyer, but God is the great rebuilder.
Communion: “Do this in remembrance of Me.” … Examine yourself.
Repent and Partake during worship – Then go pray
